Oxford-Prague Mediæval Workshop

is a series of lectures and seminars given by scholars from the University of Oxford at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague.

The workshop is organised by the Department of English Language and ELT Methodology and the Department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures in collaboration with the Czech Modern Language Association (KMF).

The 5th workshop will take place from 15—17 April 2009.

 

  1. Special Programme Course for M.A. Students (“English Literature” or “English Language and Linguistics”) — 5 credits
    • for general attendance
    • for critical summaries of 3 of the workshop events according to their choice (1 lecture + 2 seminars), partly based also on selected secondary literature; 4,000 words altogether
  2. Elective Course for B.A. Students — 4 credits
    • for general attendance
    • for critical summaries of 3 of the workshop events according to their choice (2 lectures + 1 seminar); 2,500 words altogether
