Dear Colleagues,

We are happy to let you know of the following four facts:

1. ON 9-10 JUNE this year a quite UNPRECEDENTED event will take place at our university: i.e. a conference on the PLACE OF LANGUAGE IN EDUCATION.

2. We shall bring together LINGUISTICS & EDUCATIONALISTS, who can aid each other on the strata of teaching and learning, theory and practice, upbringing and research.

3. We INVITE all those who study and read on the language of children, classroom talk, learner-teacher communication, the role of mother and native language, school talk and/or narration.

4. We hope to build a NETWORK of academics and practitioners sharing - in the course of long-term cooperation and exchange - their linguistically pedagogical or pedagogically linguistic ideas.
