March 2014This student conference, originally designed as a meeting space for students of Medieval Britain from across the Humanities, is the third in a series after Prague 2011 and Giessen 2013. We are glad to invite papers on all aspects of medieval literature, culture and language from undergraduate and graduate students.
The conference theme is traditionally open and we welcome papers on all topics and in all disciplines and periods of medieval studies. Nevertheless, we specifically invite papers in the following areas:
Alongside a number of panel sessions, dinners and city walks we are planning an optional excursion to the Drachenfels, close to Bonn. We seek 250-word proposals for 20-minute papers from undergraduate and graduate studentsworking on the Middle Ages in Britain from a literary, linguistic, sociological, historical or art historical perspective. The deadline of submission is November 4th, 2013. We also encourage proposals for panels (three twenty-minute or four fifteen-minute papers).

Accommodation: We will not be able to provide accommodation for the participants, but we will gladly help to find suitable accommodation / try to provide accommodation with Bonn students.
