more info

Lecturers at the Language Centre/Glyndwr University in Wales have designed an exciting programme package, suitable for students from a wide range of academic areas. Please take a minute to familiarise yourself with our courses, from general English language courses to MA and CPD programmes. Our University with its well equipped Language and Resource Centres is located centrally in Wales; close to the Snowdonia National Park, the beautiful Welsh countryside and beaches; and at the same time close to larger English cities such as Chester, Liverpool and Manchester.

Students can apply online. We will guide students through the process if required/wished.

We hope that your students, too, would like the idea of experiencing Wales and enjoying the benefits of an English language programme in a bi-lingual environment. Further information and automated enrolment procedures are available at our summer school website http://saturn.glyndwr.ac.uk/englishsummer/

Our newly created MA in Advanced ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) may be of interest to your present, past or future English language or literature students. It is also important to note that we can arrange tailor-made short programmes for particular (student or staff) groups, or indeed individuals (1:1 tuition) at any time of the year. Our CPD (continuous professional development) programme for English teachers may be of interest to your staff if they wish to upgrade their English language skills.

Likewise the English-in-Wales 1-semester-stay at an English speaking University will be attractive to your students of English major or minor - and our courses attract 30 University credits/semester.

The Intensive English Language Course (IELC) and the International Foundation Diploma (IFD) programmes will prepare your students for their future studies in an English speaking university.  More of the growing spectrum of our programmes can be viewed from our website (currently being updated): http://www.glyndwr.ac.uk/en/Ourcampusesandfacilities/SecondLanguageLearn...

If you have any further questions or queries about our programmes please email me and I shall try my best to answer them.
