Master's Thesis: "The Concept of ka in ancient Egyptian Religion"
Dissertation: "Chapter 105 of the Book of the Dead in the New Kingdom. The Ancient Egyptian Concept of Resurrection."
In terms of his work at the Czech Institute of Egyptology, he specialises in ancient Egyptian religion, the concept of afterlife existence and interpretation of religious and magical texts. He regularly lectures at the Hussite Faculty of Theology of the Charles University and takes part at the lecture cycles of the Czech Institute of Egyptology.
